“And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.” Mk 10:18**

**Jesus is God (Mt 16:13-17; Jn 1:1,14; Col 1:15-16; Col 2:9; 1 Jn 5:20); Jesus would conceal His God-nature for us to seek out the riches of complete understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery, in which all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ (Col 2:2-3), for “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing. [Deut. 29:29; Rom. 11:33.]” Pr‬overbs ‭25:2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” Ps 34:8

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” Ps 107:1

God is only good and only does good. Every good gift comes from above. We are the image of the goodness of God when we follow God’s order, follow the example given by Jesus. We become the righteousness of God in the Messiah—Christ Jesus—which the ministry of reconciliation comes from God Himself (2 Cor 5:18-21), and it is written,
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17,
and, “Praised be Adonai, Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who in the Messiah has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heaven.” Eph ‭1:3‬ ‭CJB‬‬

Everything the Lord God has created was good from the beginning (Gen 1:31) and all the new things He continues to do and create are good and provision in places of literal and spiritual lack for His creation, and those He chose—those He formed for Himself to declare His praises—we can perceive His doing (Is 43:19-21). In contrast, Helel (satan, the adversary) cannot create anything, only perverts and counterfeits God’s good creation to make his deception seem like God and light (2 Cor 11:14; Jn 8:44; Rev 12:9), when it’s nothing but lies, as
“There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.” Proverbs‬ ‭14:12‬ ‭NMV‬‬, and there is no new things under the sun (Ecc 1:9), new only comes from God who’s throne is above the sun and the circle of the earth (Is 40:21-22); the sun, moon, and stars are place in the sky at the foundations of the earth (Gen 1:14-19).
New comes from and is affirmed into being so above the circle (God) and is placed in the circle (in the earth) to be sustained.

These thoughts came up yesterday and I’d been meditating on it all to say:
If we—those in humankind chosen and known before the foundations of the earth to be blamelessly in love with the Lord our God to know the mystery of His will made complete in Heaven and on earth through Christ Jesus (Ep 1:4-12) [Him in which no other gods were formed before Him nor any after, as He is the one true Living God (Is 43:11-12; Jer 10:6-7, 10-13; Jn 17:3; Re 1:17-18, 21:6, 22:13)]—truly follow He who is good, conform to that which is affirmed as good, bear true witness in word and deed of what is good, the only way it can not be good is if what is good is accused as evil and evil as good through lies propagated by the father of lies.
